||asted at BI Wine & Spirits' 10-Years-On tasting, the 2007 Rauzan-Segla (Rausan-Segla) has a wonderful bouquet of dark red brambly fruit, sandalwood, sage and cloves—aromatics that convey a sense of warmth and homeliness. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly grainy tannin on the entry; there is truffle-infused black fruit, sea salt and a healthy pinch of spice, leading to a refined, almost Pomerol-like finish. The acidity feels a little lower than other coeval vintages, affording it a sense of approachability, almost "easy-drinking" in nature. Delicious—that sums this Margaux up in a word.
