Santenay "Old Vines" Red
VINE AGE 60 years
The grapes come from the vineyards of the village of Santenay in Côte de Beaune. It is a historic wine and a flagship of the House. Soil: Clay-limestone most of the time. Gentle slope. Despite the fact that the vines are in the south of the Côte de Beaune, we can easily compare them with the terroirs of Gevrey Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits because we have the same soil typology (Jurrassic rock from the Quaternary period).
