Château Petit Village 2016 has a very black, almost inky colour. The nose is impressive by its purity, by the aromatic density and a certain olfactory tension. The dark fruit is rich and beautifully fresh, with the Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvigon both acting here as factors that balance the Merlot's richness. The entry in the mouth is invigorating with an acid support that holds the wine from attack to finish. The mid-palate has a slender, elegant tannicity not without a certain power with tannins of a very beautiful sap giving the whole balance and harmony. The finish is lingering. A Petit Village with great drinkability and a very high aging potential.
