The reds are the majority and made with pinot noir; whites, rarer, with Chardonnay grapes.Wines made from Pinot Noir have a deep purple-mauve color and a bouquet reminiscent of flowers (rose petals, peony, violet) and red fruits, with notes of liquorice. With a very fine texture, the body of Premiers Crus is supple and well-structured thanks to firm and discreet tannins. These characteristics make them wines that keep well. The whites, fresh and vigorous, express their bouquet of flowers and citrus fruits on notes of fern and hazelnut. They offer minerality on the palate and a lingering finish, often of blueberry.
