A wine merchant and producer since 1797, Maison Louis Latour remains independent and family-owned. It owns approximately 50 hectares of vineyards but also purchases grapes. This Marsannay comes from vines averaging 30 years old, grown in clay-limestone soil.
Winemaking
Hand-harvested. Vinification is traditional, using open vats. Aging lasts 10 to 12 months in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes
With a deep ruby color and garnet highlights, this Marsannay reveals a complex and intense nose, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cherry. The palate is round and the tannins are silky. It is a delicious and refreshing wine.
Serving suggestion
An ideal accompaniment to roast duck, coq au vin, lamb stew, white meats in sauce, rabbit with mustard sauce, or mature cheeses. Serve at around 15-17°C.
