From Dijon to Corgoloin, the Côte de Nuits extends over twenty kilometres. It is a thin strip of vineyards no wider than one kilometer which covers an area of 1500 hectares.
This wine comes from vines located in the north of the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation, next to an old cloister, that of the sisters of the same name. The soil is clay-limestone, dry and light, the subsoil is stony and draining.
